My name is Darrell Boeck, co-owner of Creative Images in Wisconsin. Our company has been producing wedding and corporate videos for over 20 years, and has been honored with both WEVA and 4EVER Group awards. The idea of this type of lighting came to me while recording a wedding. I really wanted to use my stabilizing system for some dancing, so I removed my on-camera light and asked my partner to hold it in his hand, high above the crowd. I was amazed by the quality of the shot and how unobtrusive I became! No longer did I need to shoot ON the dance floor, but I could be some distance away.
Now, with the Reception Light™, we simply set them up near the dance floor by the band or DJ. Since the dance floor is lit up, we are free to shoot in balconies, capture creative shots from other parts of the room and so much more! Since these lights are discreet and wireless, their uses are only limited by your creativity.
